![]() Join us on the road where we will acquaint you with our Live Recording Portofolio and explain why we are your partner of choice for all on location recording tasks. In fact we had our debut in professional Audio more than 15 years ago with the first Multitrack Concert Recordings for Radio. Today we are able to fulfill the most demanding requirements, whether for broadcasting or DVD / CD production. Talk to us. You will quickly notice that our extensive experience will guarantee a proper result for your project. The Perpetuum Mobile 5P rule: Propper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance You can never overemphasize the need for a good preparation of a project to prevent unnecessary stress and problems. We start planning a show at a very early stage. On D-Day nobody, not the Producer, not the FOH engineer and certainly not the artist, has time or energy to waste. It is very simple, you have only one chance and it has to work! Our Concept is to clarify all technical issues beforehand, especially with the FOH Engineer. During the production we blend in seamlessly and very often the only thing you will see from us is a thumbs up sign. And what if…? Every engineer that has worked for a long time in the live show business has experienced problems and issues. Sometimes weird and sometimes shortly before the show starts. We could also write a book about all the things that have happened on the road, but years of experience and a clear mind have helped us to prevent worst case scenarios. Safety rules! We are not going to write an essay about live recording here but rest assured that the following steps guarantee you a 100% safety of your recordings. No Break Power Supply All critical gear runs on a no break system with autonomy of at least 15 minutes, More than enough if you consider that a power failure would affect the PA as well. Redundant Recording We record everything onto two separate recorders. Should one stop working the other recorder continues. Backup after the show In Digital nothing is backed up until it is backed up twice. Since we record onto two machines we already have a backup but right after the show we copy the data onto the internal drive of one of the machines. Hard discs travel in a foam filled Pelicase TM. On tour we burn DVD’s at night and slip them into the artist’s luggage. |
